OUR PROTECTION AND CARE PROGRAMS

In this program, we are operators of the special district of Medellín, the secretary of social inclusion, family and human rights, and the children’s unit.
It consists of providing protection and attention to children and adolescents in situations of rights violations, strengthening links with social networks through the accompaniment of an interdisciplinary team and agreements with other institutions.
Life House 2
Provide specialized psychosocial care to adolescent men, women and the LGTBIQ+ population between 14 and 17 years of age who have been affected by Commercial Sexual Exploitation (ESC) in the city of Medellín and its districts.
The Casa Vida 2 program is aligned with the intervention proposal embodied in the ICBF technical guidelines and operates for programs of the Mayor’s Office of Medellín, Secretariat for social inclusion, family and human rights.
Specialized Psychological Care
We serve children and adolescents from 0 to 18 years old and their families with violations of their rights that require specialized attention with techniques such as dialogue, guidance and advice.
It is not only a therapeutic process but also a pedagogical process with a differential approach.
Approach and Awakening
We provide care in the Support and Strengthening Modality to the family or bonding network, in which the permanence of the girl, boy and adolescent in their family environment and/or bonding support network is privileged in Psychosocial Support Intervention for children, girls and adolescents from 0 to 18 years old and their families.
The population is in a situation of violation of rights, domestic violence, sexual violence and all kinds of violence. The attention favors overcoming the threat or violation of rights and strengthening the framework of the guarantee of rights.

This program serves the population of the Criminal Responsibility System for Adolescents-SRPA, under the following measures and sanctions:
– Support Intervention Restoration in the Administration of Justice: it is a modality of care that is developed through a process of psychosocial and pedagogical intervention, in which adolescents and young people are cared for due to personal, family, social or cultural circumstances.
– Sanction of Supervised/Assisted Liberty: in this sanction are adolescents and young people who were found criminally responsible for a crime, but the judicial authority grants them freedom with the mandatory condition of submitting to supervision, assistance and orientation of this specialized care program.
Acercamiento
We provide care from the pedagogical, psychological and social work areas through a support intervention (open family and social environment – non-inpatient) to children and adolescents, from 7 to 17 years old and their families in situations of sexual violence.
