Asperla will be a recognized and sustainable NGO for offering specialized and differentiated care to children, adolescents, youth, and families in the local and national contexts, based on investigative procedures and extensive knowledge of historical-cultural dynamics.

We are historically and culturally determined beings. In this way, we individuals are by birth, we remain in the history being for the duration and we realize our being in the socio-cultural circumstances in which we have to live.

One of the goals of this objective is to ensure that by 2030, the social, economic and political inclusion of all people, regardless of their age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic situation, is strengthened and promoted or other condition.

Through our programs, we contribute to reducing these differences.

By providing the opportunity to welcome, accompany and understand the experience to transform life stories, we are reducing the inequalities that exist, especially for those children and adolescents who, being victims of some scourge or violation of rights, enter a cycle of inequality that not only tends to be repeated but also to be replicated in their family environments or with their peers.

HISTORY

The Association of Reeducating Pedagogues graduated from the Luis Amigó University Foundation was established on September 2, 1991, by a group of 54 graduates from the Faculty of Reeducative Pedagogy of the Luis Amigó University Foundation, in the city of Medellín- Colombia; who develop re-educational, interdisciplinary and participatory pedagogical proposals, aimed at children, adolescents, adults and families in situations of personal, family and social violence, thus enabling their link to society, from a humanistic vision and a rights approach aimed at the construction of ethical options for life.

ASPERLA currently has operating licenses for 7 programs, which serve around 1,000 monthly users, including children, adolescents and young people with their families and support networks; who have been victims of some violation or are part of the SPRA., Penal System of Adolescent Responsibility.
